We are all aware of the benefits of body massage. This is not only a way to relax your body, but it also benefits you mentally. In monsoons, when the problem of joint pain and stiffness increases a lot, body massage is very beneficial. Not only this, but it also gives you relief from stress and anxiety. Blood circulation also improves during body massage, which has a positive effect on skin and health.

Since many types of oils are used during massage, they can also help in hydrating the skin. This brings a glow to the skin. Although there are many benefits of body massage, you can get them only if you choose the right oil according to the season. Yes, do not just choose any oil for body massage. So, today in this article, we are telling you about some such oils, with which you should not do body massage in monsoon-

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is considered very good for skin to hair. But if you are thinking of doing body massage with it in monsoon then drop your idea. Coconut oil is a bit thick and when you apply it on your skin during monsoon season, it can make your skin oily and greasy. Due to this, you feel uncomfortable.

Castor oil

Castor oil is very thick. Also, when you apply it on your skin during monsoon, it gives you a feeling of stickiness. In such a situation, you face a lot of trouble. Not only can this but applying castor oil on the skin in this season also clog your skin pores. So, it would be better not to use castor oil for body massage in the monsoon. If you want to do this, then apply it after diluting it in some other light oil and that too in very small quantities.

Olive oil

Olive oil is considered very good for the skin. It contains many nutrients, which pamper your skin. But it would be better to avoid it in monsoon. This oil is heavy and hence it does not get absorbed well in the skin. If it is applied on the skin in monsoon, then the skin can feel very greasy.

Mustard oil

We all like to massage with mustard oil, be it for skin or hair. But it has a strong and pungent aroma, due to which it is not considered good for the rainy season. In this weather, when you already feel the stickiness, then the smell coming from mustard oil can bother you even more.

So now you too should avoid using these oils in monsoon. Instead, prefer some light oils like jojoba oil, grapeseed oil or almond oil.
