When you eat more dry fruits than required, your weight starts increasing. People like to eat dry fruits for their health benefits. But enough calories are found in them. In such a situation, when dry fruits are eaten in large quantities continuously, it gradually leads to weight gain. Not only this, sudden increase in weight can also cause problems like obesity and high BP.

There may be skin problems

You may not know, but if you eat too many dry fruits continuously during Diwali, it can cause skin problems. Protein and fats are found in dry fruits, which can activate the oil glands on the face. Therefore, when too many dry fruits are consumed it can lead to excessive sebum production and skin problems.

Gastrointestinal problems may occur

If you eat too many dry fruits, it can also cause gastrointestinal problems. Fiber content is found more in dry fruits. Therefore, when dry fruits are eaten in excess, it can cause stomach aches, diarrhoea, flatulence, cramps and constipation. Therefore, it is always advised that dry fruits should be eaten in limited quantities.

There may be a problem with kidney stones

Excessive consumption of dry fruits can cause kidney stone problems. Oxalate is found in sufficient quantity in some dry fruits like almonds and cashews. Therefore, excessive consumption of oxalates can lead to kidney stone problems. Especially, if someone already has kidney problems then they should avoid eating too many dry fruits.
