This year the month of Sawan started on 4th July 2023. And it will end on 31 August. Although Sawan is of one month, this time due to the addition of more months in Sawan, it has increased to two months. Due to this, the number of some fasts and festivals falling in Sawan has also increased.
This time there are eight Mondays, four Pradosh fasts, and two monthly Shivratris in Sawan. The second Shivratri of Sawan is on Monday, August 14. This will also be called Adhik Maas Shivratri. This time, on the day of Shivratri, there has been a beautiful coincidence of Sawan Somvar Vrat. In such a situation, by keeping fast on this day, you can get the virtuous fruit of both fasts. So let's know the worship method and the auspicious time of Shivratri in the month of Savan.

Worship and Abhishek in this way on Shivratri of Adhikamas
On the day of Shivratri of Adhikamas, get up early in the morning at Brahma Muhurta and take a bath. Then keep chanting the mantra 'Om Namah Shivay' of Lord Shiva.
Take a pledge of fasting by lighting a lamp after cleaning the house of worship.
After this, offer Belpatra, Dhatura, Bhang, etc. to Lord Bholenath and then go to the temple and perform Jalabhishek.
Offer Belpatra, Dhatura, Bhang, curd, honey, sugar, etc. to Shiva on the Shivling in the temple.
