Sawan 2023: Sawan month is starting from Tuesday, 4th July 2023. This year i.e. in 2023, the month of Sawan is going to be even more special because after 19 years the month of Sawan and Purushottam month is coming together. You must have seen very few people keeping Shivling at home. If some special rules are taken care of, then Shivling can be kept in the house. Let us know what those rules are.
Keep these rules in mind
If you want to establish a Shivling in the house during the month of Sawan, then worship it daily and do Jalabhishek. Also, keep in mind that the Shivling should not be too big.
Do this if you have more than one Shivling
Never keep more than one Shivling in the house. If you have more than one Shivling in your house, then let that Shivling flow in the holy river. Also, Shivling should never be kept alone. A picture of the Shiva family should be placed along with the Shivling, in which Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati, Kartikeya, and Ganesha are present.
Which direction are you facing?
If you are keeping Shivling in the house, then the method of Shivling should be kept towards the north direction. Both Shiva and Shakti are present in the Shivling, so where there is a Shivling, the effect of energy is very high.
Don't sacrifice this thing
Tulsi Ketaki flowers, vermilion, and turmeric should never be offered on Shivling. Because offering turmeric to God on Shivling makes the moon weak. Along with this, offering vermilion on Shivling is prohibited in Shiva Purana.
