Salt is such a thing, which is always present in every kitchen. Without it, there is no taste in food. Salt is available in the market at a very low price and hence it can also be considered an economical option for skin care. Yes, salt not only takes care of your taste buds, but it is equally beneficial for the skin. It deeply cleanses your skin and removes all kinds of dirt from the face. Because of this, you get clean and smooth skin.

Usually, we buy many expensive branded products to take care of the skin, but in comparison to that, using salt is considered to be a much better option. There are many ways you can incorporate salt into your skincare routine and pamper your skin. So let's know about it-

Make a scrub with salt and aloe vera gel

If your skin is dry and flaky and you want to rejuvenate your skin once again, then prepare a great scrub using sea salt. To use it, mix half a cup of salt, a quarter cup of aloe vera juice or gel and a quarter cup of oil. Mix one tablespoon of dried lavender flowers and 10 drops of lavender essential oil in it. Now apply it on the skin with the help of your fingers or loofah. You can use it on both your face and body. Massage with light hands in a circular motion for about five minutes. Then leave it like this for five minutes. Finally, clean the skin with the help of water.

Remove puffiness of eyes

If you have swelling in your eyes and you want to give it rest, then you should use salt. To use it, first, add two cups of hot water and one teaspoon of salt to it and mix it well. Your salt should dissolve well. Now take cotton and dip it in this mixture. Now apply it around your eyes and wherever you feel swelling, apply it there.

Take care of nails

Salt softens the cuticles and skin of your nails. At the same time, it also strengthens your nails. To use it, mix one teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of baking soda, one teaspoon of lemon juice and half a cup of warm water. Soak your nails in this solution for 10 minutes and then scrub with a soft brush. Lastly, wash your hands thoroughly. Be aware that if lemon remains on the finger it can cause sunburn.

Detox the skin

Salt acts as a natural detoxifier. When you apply it to the skin, it helps to flush out harmful toxins and bacteria. Salt makes your skin more youthful and glowing. To use it, wet your face and apply a thin layer of salt on your skin. As it dries, the salt absorbs harmful toxins from the skin. Finally, you clean your skin with water.
