According to astrology, Monday is considered to be the most auspicious day to wear Rudraksha as it is the day of Lord Shiva.
When you are going to wear a Rudraksha necklace, you should keep in mind that it should have at least 27 beads. Some puja rituals should be followed before wearing Rudraksha.
First of all, the rosary should be tied in a red cloth and kept in the Shiva temple, and 'Om Namah Shivay' should be chanted. After chanting the rosary, one should wash the rosary and hands with Ganga water and take a pledge to wear the Rudraksha rosary with devotion to Shiva.
