Republic Day, one of the most important days in the history of India, is about to come. Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26 January throughout the country. On this day the Constitution of India came into force and after independence, India became a democratic country. Republic Day is celebrated as a national festival. Flag hoisting is done on this day in schools, offices, etc. and many types of programs are organized. This occasion is celebrated in schools across the country. Colorful programs related to patriotism are presented in schools, in which students participate with enthusiasm.

Preparations have started in schools for the program of 26 January. Children participate in it enthusiastically and may have also started preparations for the school event. Although it is very cold and due to the orders of the administration, holidays in schools are also increasing, in such a situation, children preparing for school programs may face some problems. Parents should also take part in the preparations to encourage their child to perform on stage. Parents of children who are participating and preparing for the program on 26th January should take special care of some things.

Understand the child's potential
If the child wants to participate in the colorful program organized in the school for Republic Day, then prepare the presentation only after understanding his/her capabilities. Whether the child is good at dancing or singing, is a good speaker, or has other talents, identify his/her abilities and prepare a presentation. Also, keep in mind the child's preferences so that he can enjoy his presentation.

Don't apply pressure
Often parents start putting more pressure on their children while making them practice. Do not burden the child with your ambitions, rather encourage the child. Instead of making him practice continuously, make him prepare through games so that he participates in the program with joy and not with fear and avoids making mistakes in haste.

Practice is necessary
The child will be able to give a good presentation in a school program only when he is sure that he has memorized the entire program. For this, the child must practice well. Parents and teachers need to give time to the child for practice. Give them some time instead of letting them practice alone. Record the child's presentation and let him understand the shortcomings himself so that he does not repeat the mistake in the next presentation.

Don't forget to praise
A lack of self-confidence occurs when the child feels that he is performing incorrectly or is not doing well. To increase his confidence, it is important to praise the child. On receiving praise, he gets encouraged to do even better. Instead of pointing out the child's mistakes or scolding them, a little praise boosts their morale.
