Ingredients:

2 cups shredded coconut

1 cup condensed milk

1/2 tsp cardamom powder

1 tbsp ghee

Chopped nuts for garnishing

Instructions :

Heat a non-stick pan or tawa on medium heat and add ghee.

Add the grated coconut to the pan and dry roast on a low to medium flame till it turns light golden brown in color. Stir frequently to avoid burning.

After the coconut is roasted, add condensed milk and cardamom powder to the pan. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.

Cook the mixture on a low flame, stirring continuously, till it thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan. This will take about 5-7 minutes.

Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool slightly.

Grease your palms with some ghee and take a small portion of the mixture. Roll it between your palms to give it the shape of a round ladoo. Repeat the process with the remaining mixture.

If you want, you can decorate the laddoos with chopped dry fruits by pressing them lightly.

Allow the laddus to cool completely and then store them in an airtight container.
