How to make Tasty Usal

Ingredients-

Moong,

Moont,

Gram,

Cowpea,

Green peas all one cup each (soak the night before, sprouts will also work),

Onion- 1 medium sized finely chopped,

Tomato- 1 medium-sized Finely chopped,

Fennel powder - 1 teaspoon,

Dry coriander - one teaspoon,

Black pepper - 5-6,

Green cardamom - two,

Black cardamom - one,

Green chili finely chopped - two,

Ginger - one-inch piece,

Garlic - 5 - 6 buds,

Lemon- one,

Dry coconut- one spoon,

Mustard oil- as required,

Salt-pepper- as per taste

For garnishing:

Sev, sesame seeds, peanuts – one spoon each, green coriander – finely chopped

Method

- Put oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. After this add black and green cardamom in it. Then make a paste of ginger, garlic, and onion add it and fry. Fry everything thoroughly.

After this, add tomato pieces to the pan and fry. Now add salt, chili, dry coriander, fennel, and black pepper, and fry the spices well again.

When the spices start giving out a slight aroma, it means now add the dal, cover, and cook for some time.

- In about five to seven minutes your meal will be cooked properly.

Garnish with green coriander, dry coconut, sesame seeds, peanuts and sev, and serve. Don't forget to squeeze the lemon. This increases the taste of urine.
