Bread Spring Roll is a tasty dish that is easy to prepare. Today we have brought this recipe for you, which you must try by making it at home.
Ingredients:
- 6-8 slices of bread
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrot, cabbage, capsicum, beans, etc.), finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp chili sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- salt to taste
- oil for frying
- water to seal the rolls
- Tomato ketchup or any dipping sauce of your choice (for serving)

Instructions :
- Trim the edges of the bread slices and roll them slightly flat using a rolling pin.
- In a pan, heat some oil on medium heat. Add chopped onion and fry till it becomes transparent.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute till the raw smell disappears.
- Add the vegetables and cook for a few minutes till they become slightly soft.
- Add soya sauce, chili sauce, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix well to combine all the flavors. Cook for another minute and then take off the heat.
- Take a slice of bread and place a spoonful of vegetable filling on one end of the bread slice. To make a spring roll shape, roll it tightly, folding the edges inwards. Use a little water to seal the edges.
- Repeat the process with the remaining bread slices and filling.
- To shallow fry or deep fry, heat oil in a pan.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully put the prepared bread spring rolls in the pan and fry till they turn golden brown and crispy from all sides.
- Remove the spring rolls from the tava and keep them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve the bread spring rolls hot with tomato ketchup or any dipping sauce of your choice.
