People who have a fridge or AC in their house, also cannot apply for a ration card.

Along with this, if someone in the family is doing a government job, then he also cannot get a ration card. To get a ration card, the annual income of the family in the village should be less than 2 lakh rupees. Whereas in cities it should not be more than 3 lakhs. If this happens then those people will be invalid. Anyone who pays income tax cannot get a ration card. Along with this, if someone has a licensed weapon, then he is also ineligible for a ration card.

If you have got a ration card made by mistake, then surrender it
The Government of India is now identifying such people. Those who have got ration cards made by tampering with the documents. But they are ineligible to get a ration card. For this, you will have to go to the office of the Food Department and there you will have to give a consent letter in writing.
