Mawa (Khoya) - 250 grams
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Pistachio and almond
Method
To make Kalakand, first, boil the milk in a heavy bottom pan and keep stirring it continuously on low flame. Now cook the milk till it remains almost half. When it is cooked properly, add mawa to it and keep stirring continuously.
Keep in mind that you have to stir it continuously, otherwise it will start sticking to the pan. When this mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan, add sugar and cardamom powder to it.
When the mixture thickens completely, turn off the gas. Before taking it out in the tray, apply ghee on the tray and then take out the mixture in the tray. Now decorate it by putting pieces of pistachio and almond on it. Finally cut it into equal parts as per your requirement. Now keep it in the fridge and make your brother's mouth sweet with this.
