At this time, crores of people across the country are very troubled by the heat. Due to the effect of El Nino and global warming, this year's heat is breaking the records of the last several years. The mercury has crossed 50 degrees Celsius in many cities of the country. In such a situation, people are adopting many measures to get relief from this scorching heat. At the same time, given this increasing heat, scientists have made a special type of cloth, after wearing which you will get AC-like coolness. A special type of fabric has been used in this cloth. The fabric is made with the help of plastic and silver nanowire, which works on the radiative cooling principle. This cloth is specially designed for those people who live in hot weather areas. In this episode, let us know about it in detail -

This fabric made on the radiative cooling process works to emit infrared radiation within the wavelength coming out of the Earth's atmosphere. Apart from this, this fabric also works to block infrared radiation.

This fabric has a total of three layers. The inner layer is made of fabrics like wool or cotton. The middle layer is made of moon and nanowires. The top layer is made of a plastic substance called polymethyl pentene.

Tests conducted on this fabric have shown that it is 8.9 degrees Celsius cooler than other silk fabrics. Apart from this, when it was tested on human skin, this fabric was found to be 1.8 degrees cooler than cotton fabric.

This fabric has been made by Professor Chun Soo of the University of Chicago and his team. It is worth noting that this fabric will be quite different from the clothes we wear. A lot of research is still going on on this fabric. However, now the wait is for it to come in the market.
