The day of 17 September 2023 was very special and important for many sections because on this day PM, Narendra Modi launched the 'Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana'. Under this scheme, 18 traditional businesses have been included and are being given economic benefits. At present, people are joining this scheme and taking benefits. Who are the eligible people?
Those people who are locksmiths, gunsmiths, sculptors, stone carvers, stone breakers, hammer and toolkit makers, masons, boat builders, or blacksmiths are eligible for PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
Those who are goldsmiths, doll and toy makers, barbers i.e. hair cutters, cobblers/shoemakers, fishing net makers, garland makers, washermen, and tailors, basket/mat/broom makers.

If you are eligible for Vishwakarma Yojana, then go to your nearest Jan Seva Kendra.
Go there and meet the concerned officer, who checks your documents and your eligibility.
Then if the investigation is found correct, the application is made.
You get these benefits:-
On joining the scheme, one gets an advance of Rs 15,000 to buy the toolkit.
Daily stipend of Rs 500
There is also a provision to give incentives
The first loan of one lakh and then two lahks i.e. up to three lakh rupees is provided at low interest.
