Google is now working on a private space feature. After the introduction of this feature, Android users will be able to hide their phone's apps in their phone. This type of feature is already available in Samsung phones which comes by the name of Secure Folder.
According to the report, this feature is currently being tested. It may be released with the update to Android 14 QPR2. The new feature has been seen in the Privacy and Security settings of the beta version.
It is being said in the report that after the introduction of this feature, users will be able to lock any of their apps in the private space of the phone through PIN or biometric. The thing to note here is that if you lock any app in the Private Space folder, the notifications of that app will also be locked.
After the arrival of this feature, you can hand over your phone to someone else. After locking, no one will be able to see your apps. It is being said that this new feature can be released for everyone with Android 15.
