If you also use WhatsApp, then there is no good news for you. We are saying this because WhatsApp will now keep a record of all the chats of the users. WhatsApp may soon bring a new feature for its artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot Meta AI for Android users. A new "Chat Memory" feature is being added to the instant messaging platform, allowing users to ask the AI to remember certain information about themselves.

So will privacy end?
Once the information is saved in the chatbot's memory, it will give a more personalized response keeping the information in mind, giving users a better experience. The feature has been spotted in the latest beta version of the app but is currently not available to beta testers.

According to WABetaInfo, the new feature will make Meta AI more personalized for users. It is being told that this feature has been seen in WhatsApp's Android beta version 2.24.22.9, although this feature is not available at the moment and even those who are signed up in the Google Beta Programme cannot try it.

This feature is named "Chat Memory" and it will allow users to ask Meta AI to remember some of their specific information. The feature tracker has also shared some screenshots that show how this feature works. Based on the screenshots, the "Memory" option will be added to the profile page of Meta AI, which users can access by tapping on the Meta AI title inside the chat interface.

After going to the profile page, users will be able to see a new option called "What Meta AI remembers about you". When any information is saved in this menu, it will appear here.

Meta AI will not record the private chats of users, but whatever is talked to by Meta AI, there will be a complete record of it. In such a situation, it will not affect privacy completely, but to a large extent, because after the arrival of this feature, people will use Meta AI as a personal assistant and people will ask many types of questions to the assistant.
