Ingredients to make Poha Cutlet
Thin poha – 1 cup
Potatoes boiled - 2
Flour - 1 tbsp
Corn flour - 3 tbsp
Bread crumbs - 1 cup
Ginger-garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
Dry mango powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Oil - for frying
salt - as per taste

Poha Cutlet Recipe
To make Poha Cutlet, first clean the Poha and then wash it thoroughly with water. Now put the poha in a strainer and leave it for 5 minutes, so that the water present in the poha gets drained out. After this, transfer the poha to a big bowl. After this peel off the boiled potatoes and mash them and put them in the poha and mix both things well. Now add turmeric, red chili powder, dried mango powder, garam masala, chaat masala, ginger-garlic paste, and salt as per taste to this mixture and mix well.

After mixing all the things well, add black pepper powder, corn flour, and chopped coriander leaves to the mixture. Keep in mind that there should not be much moisture in the mixture. Now mix corn flour, all-purpose flour in a bowl and add a pinch of black pepper powder and a little salt to it. Add half a cup of water little by little and prepare a smooth batter.

Now take little by little the prepared mixture of potato-poha and prepare cutlets from it and keep them on a plate. After this, put oil in a pan and heat it. While the oil is heating up, take a cutlet and dip it in the flour-corn flour batter, after that coat it well from all sides by adding it to the bread crumbs and then put it in the pan for frying. Similarly, according to the capacity of the pan, put Poha cutlets for frying.

Roast the Poha cutlets by turning them for a couple of minutes. When the cutlets become golden and crispy from both sides, take them out on a plate. After this, deep fry the rest of the bread cutlets following the same procedure. Tasty bread cutlets are ready for breakfast. Serve them hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
