Who is eligible for the scheme?
We talk about those who are eligible for the scheme, it includes fishing net makers and basket/mat/broom makers, stone carvers, cobblers/shoe artisans...

Doll and toy makers, boat makers, masons, barbers, jewelers, washermen, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, stone breakers, hammer and toolkit makers, locksmiths, gunsmiths, and sculptors included. All these people are considered eligible for this scheme.

What is the loan facility and who can get it?
Actually, after joining PM Vishwakarma Yojana, the beneficiaries are given training for a few days, for which a stipend of Rs 500 is given daily. Apart from this, there is also a provision of giving Rs 15 thousand so that the beneficiary can buy the toolkit.

Similarly, people joining the scheme are also given loans up to Rs 3 lakh. There is a provision of giving a loan of Rs 1 lakh first at a guaranteed and affordable interest rate and then after repaying this money on time, you can take an additional loan of Rs 2 lakh. At the same time, people eligible for the scheme can avail the facility of this loan.
