Like the rest of the class, many types of beneficial and welfare schemes are being run in the country for the farmers of the country. While on one hand some of these schemes are run by the state governments, on the other hand, some are run by the central government. At the same time, the government spends a lot of money every year on these schemes, so that the benefits can reach every needy and poor class. One such scheme is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which is run by the central government. Under this scheme, the farmers are given an installment of Rs. 2-2 thousand three times a year. In this episode, this time the farmers have to get the 14th installment, for which they are eagerly waiting. So let's try to know why the installment is getting delayed and by when the 14th installment can come. You can learn about this in the next slides...

Why is there a delay?
Actually, under the rules, the government has full-time till July to release the 14th installment in it. At the same time, the delay is also visible because the government is investigating which farmers are taking or have taken benefits of the scheme wrongly even after being ineligible.

Action is also being taken on such farmers by the government. Notices are being issued to the farmers who are taking benefits in the wrong way and recovery is also being done for them.

When can the 14th installment come?
The farmers associated with the scheme are waiting for the 14th installment. If media reports are to be believed then this installment can be released on any day of July. However, no official information has been given by the government regarding this.
