A large section of the society is benefiting from various government schemes. The government also spends lakhs and crores of rupees on these schemes every year. For example, take the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Yesterday i.e. on 28 February 2024, the 16th installment was released, and 9 crore farmers got the benefit of this installment. Prime Minister Modi sent installment money to the bank accounts of farmers through DBT. In such a situation, many farmers may have been deprived of benefits, that is, whose installment money may not have come into their bank accounts. Reasons for stuck installment:-
The installment gets stuck for those farmers who have not got the e-KYC done. It is necessary to get this done under the rules. You can get e-KYC done by visiting your nearest CSC center, or bank or by visiting the official website of the scheme pmkisan.gov.in.
Apart from this, farmers who have not got the land verification done may also be deprived of the installment. At the same time, it is also mandatory to link the Aadhaar account with the bank account. Even if this is not the case, your installment may get stuck.
Can I still get the 16th installment?
There are many farmers who applied but did not receive the 16th installment yesterday i.e. on 28 February 2024. In such a situation, the question is whether they can still get the benefit of installment, then the answer is yes. But for this, the farmers will have to complete the incomplete work.
All these works are the same as have been mentioned in the previous slides, like e-KYC, land verification, linking Aadhaar with a bank account, etc. When the farmers complete this work, then the state government clears their names and sends it forward and after everything is found correct, the money is released by the central government.
