To provide financial help to the farmers in the country, the Government of India runs a scheme, whose name is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Through this scheme, economically weak farmers, the needy, and farmers coming from the poor class are helped. Farmers who are eligible for the scheme are given financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year. At the same time, this money is given in 3 installments of Rs 2 thousand each. When can the installment come?
The 15th installment was released on November 15, 2023, in which more than 8 crore farmers got benefits. In such a situation, this time the 16th installment is to be released, about which no official information has been revealed yet. At the same time, if media reports are to be believed, the 16th installment may be released in February-March.

If you are associated with PM Kisan Yojana, then you need to get e-KYC done. If you do not get this work done, you may be deprived of the benefit of the installment. According to government rules, it is mandatory for every farmer associated with the scheme to get e-KYC done.

If you have not got e-KYC done yet, then you can get this work done by visiting your nearest CSC center. You can get biometric-based e-KYC done here.
At the same time, if you want, you can also get e-KYC done by visiting the official portal of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in. Apart from this, you can also go to your nearest bank and get this work done.
