The central government runs the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for those farmers who are needy or come from the poor class. Under this scheme, financial benefits are given to the farmers so that they can be helped in their farming. For this, the central government gives 6 thousand rupees to the eligible farmers every year and this money is given in three installments of 2-2 thousand rupees every four months. Not only this, but this time the 17th installment is also to be released but amidst all this, the Rajasthan government has announced to give two thousand rupees annually to the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana. So let's know about this...
What has the government announced?
Today i.e. on Saturday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma made a big announcement. Under this, he announced that the state government would give 2 thousand rupees annually to Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi. Bhajanlal government will give 2 thousand rupees annually to about 57 lakh farmers of the state.
This will put an annual burden of about Rs 1100 crore on the state government and this money will be given through the Kisan Kalyan Nidhi. Earlier, the central government used to give Rs 6 thousand annually to the farmers separately.
Now it will increase to 8 thousand rupees instead of 6
Where till now, like the rest of the farmers of the country, the central government also used to give Rs 6 thousand annually to the farmers of Rajasthan under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. But from now on, only the farmers of Rajasthan will get 8 thousand rupees instead of 6 annually.
Where on the one hand the central government will give Rs 6 thousand, and on the other hand, the state government will give Rs 2 thousand annually. It is believed that the government has taken this step to convince the farmers of the state.
