To increase the income of farmers in the country, the central and state governments are running many great schemes at their level. In this context, a few years ago the Central Government had started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Through this scheme, the Central Government is providing 6 thousand rupees to the farmers every year. This financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand is sent every year through three installments. Under each installment, an amount of two thousand rupees is sent to the accounts of the farmers. Recently on November 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 15th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Khunti, Jharkhand. After receiving the 15th installment, crores of farmers in the country are very happy and are waiting for the 16th installment. In this series, let us know when the Government of India can release the 16th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
If media reports are to be believed, the Central Government can transfer the money of the 16th installment in February or March of the year 2024. However, no official announcement has been made by the government regarding this.
Many farmers in the country are taking advantage of this scheme wrongly. For this reason, the Central Government has made it mandatory to do e-KYC and verification of land records in the scheme.
If you have not done both of these important tasks yet. In such a situation, you will not get the benefit of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. In such a situation, you should complete both of these tasks as soon as possible.
Apart from this, the farmers who are applying for the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. They should not give any wrong information while registering for the scheme. Doing so may result in your application being cancelled. Because of this, you will not get the benefit of the upcoming 16th installment.
