Under this ambitious scheme, the Government of India is providing financial assistance of Rs 6,000 every year to the economically weak farmers of the country. This financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand is released every year in three installments. Under each installment, financial assistance of Rs 2,000 is sent to the farmers' accounts at an interval of 4 months. Till now the government has released a total of 15 installments of this scheme. Now more than a month has passed since the release of the 15th installment. In such a situation, crores of farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 15th installment. If media reports are to be believed, the Government of India may release the 16th installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the month of February or March. However, it is worth noting that the government has not made any official announcement regarding the dates of release of money for the 16th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Those farmers who have not yet got their e-KYC done under the scheme. They will not get the benefit of the next 16th installment. In such a situation, farmers should get this important work done as soon as possible.
Those farmers who have not yet got the land records verified under the scheme. They will also not get the benefit of the next 15th installment.
Apart from this, those farmers who had entered any wrong information while registering themselves in the scheme. They should get this mistake corrected as soon as possible. If they don't do it. In such a situation, they will also not get the benefit of the next 16th installment.
