Even today, crores of farmers in the country are financially very weak. To provide financial assistance to these farmers, the Government of India is running the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this ambitious scheme, the Government of India is providing financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand every year to the poor farmers of the country. This financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand is released every year in the form of three installments. Under each installment, an amount of Rs 2 thousand is sent directly to the farmers' account through DBT. Each installment is sent at an interval of 4 months. So far, a total of 17 installments of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana have been released. On June 18 last month, PM Narendra Modi released the 17th installment of the scheme at the Kisan Samman Sammelan held in Varanasi.
More than a month has passed since the release of the 17th installment. In such a situation, many farmers across the country are now waiting for the 18th installment. If media reports are to be believed, the Government of India can release the 18th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the coming month of October.
However, no official announcement has been made by the government regarding this yet. On the other hand, many farmers often have a question can both farmer husband and wife in a family take advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana together?
Let us tell you that both farmer husband and wife in a family cannot take advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana together. The benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is available to only one member in the family, in whose name the land is registered.
To avail of the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the government has made it mandatory to do e-KYC and verification of land records in the scheme. If you do not do both these necessary work then you will not get the benefit of the scheme.
