Many types of beneficial and welfare schemes are going on for farmers in the country. Among them, some schemes run by the state governments and some schemes are run by the central government. But the purpose of these schemes seems to be the same and that it is that farmers help in farming, help them financially, etc. In this sequence, the Central Government runs a scheme called Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. In this scheme, at present, three installments of 2-2 thousand rupees are given every four months i.e. 6 thousand rupees annually. At the same time, now it may be that the central government can increase this annual installment from 6 to 8 thousand rupees annually in the upcoming budget. So let's know about this. You can learn about it in detail in the next slides ...

How much money do farmers get now?
Farmers who join the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are given 6 thousand rupees annually, and this money is given in three installments of 2-2 thousand rupees. This installment comes every four months. Recently, 17th installment has also been sent to the farmers, in which more than 9 crore eligible farmers were given benefits.

The government releases installments every four months and through DBT, this money is transferred directly to the bank account of the eligible farmers. PM Narendra Modi himself issues installment money and during this time he also communicates with the farmers.

Can the installment increase?
The government can increase the installment under the PM Kisan Yojana in the upcoming budget. According to sources, the government can pay 8 thousand rupees annually to the installment of 6 thousand rupees to the farmers. If this happens, the government will have an additional burden of about 20 thousand crore rupees. At the same time, it has been demanded for a long time that 6 thousand rupees will be increased from 8 thousand rupees annually to 8 thousand rupees.

It is believed that during the budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman can announce to increase in the economic benefit provided under the PM Kisan Yojana. However, it will be clear in the budget itself whether this is happening or not, but if this happens, it can be good news for the farmers.
