It is important to know these things:-
For those who are applying in the Economic Weaker Section i.e. EWS, their annual income should be between Rs 0-3 lakh.
The annual income of those applying in the Lower Income Group i.e. LIG should be between Rs 3-6 lakh.
To apply in Middle Income Group 1 i.e. MIG 1, the annual income should be between Rs 6-12 lakh and to apply in Middle Income Group 2 i.e. MIG 2 the annual income should be between Rs 12-18 lakh.

Who is eligible?
If you do not have a residential unit, you can avail of benefits under the PM Awas Yojana.
People who have BPL cards or have low income are also considered eligible for this scheme.

If you are going to apply, know that you must be 18 years of age or older
It is also mandatory for the applicant to be a citizen of India
