Yellow Arhar Dal
basmati rice
Ghee
Asafoetida
Cumin
Salt
hot red pepper

Method
1. First of all, wash and soak the dal rice well.
2. After soaking for about half an hour, put desi ghee in the cooker.
3. When the ghee is hot, add cumin, asafoetida, and red chilies.
4. After this add rice and dal and add salt.
5. There is no need to add turmeric to this casserole.
6. Just add water and switch off the gas.
7. Now after 2-3 whistles turn off the gas.
8. Or whistle according to your cooker.
9. Keep in mind that you have already soaked the dal and rice and do not want to thaw them further.
10. While serving this pulao, pour more ghee over it and eat it with curd, chutney, and salad.
