In every summer vacation, my father and mother used to take us to water parks in Dehradun. We used to plan which water parks to visit during the summer holidays. Never went out of Dehradun but in those days it used to be our vacation.

Kedarnath

Kedarnath has its own importance in the journey of Char Dham. There was a time when it was difficult to reach here, but today it is easy to reach here. Lord Shiva resides at this place located in Uttarakhand. Not only this, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India is called Kedarnath.

You can visit this place with the kids. Choose a family package from the many tour packages online and explore this place. If we talk about the temperature here, then due to the rain, this place will still be cool. Even in June, the minimum temperature here remains 4 to 12 degrees centigrade.

Spiti Valley

Spiti is one of the best places to visit in summer. There are many places like Chandratal, Suraj Tal, Dhankar Monastery, and Kunzum Pass that you can explore. Even in June, this place is covered with snow. In such a situation, it is possible that when you go here, the valley is covered with a sheet of snow. The minimum temperature here is sometimes up to -2 degree centigrade.

Sonamarg

If you have not seen Kashmir till now, then this summer, visit Kashmir with your children during the summer holidays. April to June is also a good time to visit Sonamarg and at this time the temperature there will be between 7 to 12 degrees centigrade. For the first time, children will also be very happy to ride a Shikara boat.

Apart from this, you can visit Sonamarg for Gondola Ride, Jeff Safari, Famous Tulips Garden, Museum and many more. Along with this, Kashmiri cuisine can be enjoyed and shopping for genuine Pashmina shawls can also be done.

Kalpa

If you think that there is only Shimla and Solang Valley to visit in Himachal, then you are wrong. This time come to Kalpa village of Kinnaur for a holiday. Book a nice family resort here on the banks of the Sutlej River and enjoy your meal with the cool breeze. This place is known for its beautiful monasteries as well as temples. Show your kids the apple orchards here too. The minimum temperature of Kalpa these days remains up to 7 degrees centigrade.

Sela Pass

This time, leaving Himachal and Uttarakhand with children, if you want to go somewhere else, then you can visit North East. This place is 78 kilometres away from Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. This destination is not much explored yet. If you are looking for a peaceful place away from the crowd, then Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang City and Sela Pass are good options. Here you can go trail hiking and have a picnic near the beautiful lakes. The minimum temperature here in June is 8 degrees centigrade.
