Ways to get rid of Pitra Dosh: Pitru Paksha has started. It started on 29th September and will continue till 14th October i.e. Sarva Pitru Amavasya. A solar eclipse is also occurring on 14th October itself. During Pitru Paksha, people perform Shraddha for the peace of the souls of their ancestors. Every person performs Shraddha as per his capacity, due to which the ancestors are pleased and also get freedom from Pitra Dosh. If there is Pitra Dosh in a person's life then there is a hindrance in his progress. Due to Pitra Dosh, all kinds of auspicious works stop. According to religious scriptures, performing Shraddha as per the rituals brings peace to the souls of the ancestors. But many times, people suffering from financial crises are unable to perform Shraddha rituals as per the rituals. In such a situation, due to Pitra Dosh, many types of problems persist in life. According to the Puranas, in such a situation, by expressing reverence towards the ancestors and taking some simple measures, the ancestors are satisfied. Let us know what those solutions are-
If a person is not able to perform Shraddha due to lack of money, then he should take very simple measures. If you take any one of these remedies, you will get freedom from Pitra Dosh.
Light a lamp of pure ghee every evening at the place where you keep drinking water. By following this remedy, the blessings of your ancestors will always remain with you. But along with this, also keep in mind that do not keep false utensils there.
On the day of Sarva Pitru Amavasya, make 5 lumps of rice flour and float it in the river.
Burn a pot made of cow dung and mix ghee, barley, sesame, and rice with sugar on it and offer incense in the house.
Apart from this, donate some Dakshina (rupees) along with white sesame seeds as per your devotion and capacity in any temple of Lord Vishnu.
Mix raw milk, barley, sesame, and rice and pour it into the river. It would be better if you do these measures at sunrise.
After Shraddha, feed food to the Brahmin or donate material including flour, fruits, jaggery, vegetables, and Dakshina.
If you are not able to perform Shraddha, then put black sesame seeds in a river and offer it to others, this also reduces Pitra Dosh. By donating a handful of black sesame seeds to a learned Brahmin during Shraddha Paksha, the ancestors are pleased.
