Ingredients to make Andhra Style Chutney

1 tbsp oil

1 cup peanuts

4-5 dry red chillies

1 inch chopped ginger

5-6 cloves of garlic

Bread cup Onion coarsely chopped

Tamarind

Salt as per taste

Ingredients for Chutney Tadka

2 tbsp oil

1 tsp mustard

½ tsp cumin

½ tsp asafoetida

1 tsp urad dal

10-12 curry leaves

Andhra Pradesh Style Peanut Chutney Recipe

To make Andhra Pradesh-style chutney, first heat refined oil in a pan. Now add peanuts in oil and fry them lightly, then take them out separately on a plate. Now add red chili, ginger, garlic, and onion to the pan and fry for 3-4 minutes. Now let all the ingredients cool in a plate along with the peanuts.

Now grind these things with tamarind and salt in a mixer. Add some water while grinding. Now to fry the chutney, heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin, and asafoetida, and fry for a few seconds. Add urad dal and fry until it turns golden. Then add tadka and curry leaves to the chutney. Now you can also serve this chutney with idli or dal-rice.
