Every day, about 50 lakh passengers travel from one place to another in Delhi Metro. Recently, on August 13 last month, the record of the highest number of people traveling in a day in Delhi Metro was made, 72 lakh people traveled on that day. One thing is clear from this people use Delhi Metro the most for traveling in Delhi state and Delhi NCR. This is the reason why Delhi Metro is one of the busiest metro services in the country. Men traveling in women's coach.
Women's coach has been arranged keeping in mind the safety of women in the metro. Often men knowingly or unknowingly board the women's coach. Men are not allowed to travel in women's coach. In such a situation, if a man is caught traveling in a women's coach, then a fine of Rs 250 can be imposed on him under Section 64(1) of the Delhi Metro Railway Act, 2002.

Travel without ticket
Traveling in the Delhi Metro without a ticket or metro card is a crime. For traveling without a ticket, the passenger has to pay a fine of Rs 50 under Section 69.

Obstructing the duty of an employee
Often people get into a fight with the employee at the metro station. The employees posted at the metro station work for the safety and convenience of the passengers. Obstructing their duty or behaving indecently with them is a legal offense. If a passenger obstructs the duty of an employee, then under Section 68 of the Delhi Metro Railway Act, 2002, a fine of Rs 500 can be imposed against him.

Sitting and spitting on the floor of the train
It is the responsibility of all passengers to maintain cleanliness in the metro train, in such a situation, spitting here and there is a violation of the rules of the metro. Also, one should not sit on the floor of the train. If a passenger does this, then he can be fined up to Rs 200 under Section 59.
