Make roti or paratha fun by serving 'Paneer Hyderabadi' with it

This is a South Indian paneer curry that can be served with roti and rice. It is palak paneer only but with a different Hyderabadi tadka which makes it special.

Ingredients:

To puree

  • 3 tsp oil,
  • 1 onion, chopped,
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste,
  • 2 chilies,
  • ½ tomato, finely chopped,
  • 1 bundle of spinach,
  • ¾ cup coriander,
  • ½ cup water

For curry

  • 2 tbsp oil,
  • 1 tsp cumin,
  • 1 curry leaf,
  • 1-inch cinnamon,
  • 2 cardamom,
  • 3 cloves,
  • 2 tbsp curd,
  • 2 tbsp cream/malai,
  • ¼ tsp cumin powder,
  • 1 tsp coriander powder,
  • ¾ tsp salt, ½ cup water,
  • 12 cubes of paneer,
  • ¼ tsp garam masala,
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi, mashed

process :

  • First of all, take oil in a large pan and add onions, ginger-garlic paste, and chilies and fry lightly.
  • Now add tomatoes to it and cook till it becomes soft.
  • After this add spinach, and ¾ cup coriander and cook.
  • Keep cooking till the spinach becomes completely soft.
  • Cool it completely and put it in a blender.
  • Add ½ cup of water and blend till it becomes a smooth paste.
  • Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a large pan and add 1 tsp cumin, 1 curry leaf, 1-inch cinnamon, 2 cardamom, and 3 cloves and fry lightly.
  • Fry it till the aroma comes from the spices.
  • Now after this add the prepared spinach puree and cook it.
  • After this add 2 tbsp curd and 2 tbsp cream or cream.
  • Keep cooking it till the curd and cream mix well.
  • After this add ¼ tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, and ¾ tsp salt and cook well.
  • Now add ½ cup of water and cook till the gravy becomes thick as required.
  • After this, add 12 pieces of paneer to it and mix it well.
  • Now cover it and cook for 3 minutes or until all the flavors get mixed well in the paneer.
  • After this add ¼ tsp garam masala and 1 tsp kasoori methi.
  • Now finally enjoy Hyderabadi Paneer with roti.
