Bored of eating the same type of paneer curry every time, this time on the occasion of New Year, you can try restaurant-style paneer bhurji at home. It is very easy to make. You can prepare it in minutes and loot everyone's praise.

Serves : 3

Ingredients:

  • 250 g paneer
  • a finely chopped onion
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • a finely chopped bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 inch chopped ginger
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • half teaspoon turmeric
  • a pinch of asafoetida
  • Half teaspoon coriander powder
  • Half teaspoon pav bhaji masala
  • green coriander
  • salt to taste
  • oil as needed

process :

  • First of all, finely grate the paneer in a vessel and then keep it aside.
  • Now heat the oil in a pan and then add cumin-asafoetida and fry it.
  • Later add onion to it and let it cook till it turns light pink.
  • Now add garlic paste and fry it and then add tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft.
  • After some time add finely chopped green chilies and ginger to it and mix.
  • Then add red chili powder, turmeric and coriander powder, and all other spices.
  • Now cook it well on low flame for a minute or two and then add chopped capsicum and let it cook till it becomes soft.
  • When all the vegetables and spices are cooked well, add grated paneer to it and mix well.
  • Finally, add salt as per taste and cook it for 3-4 minutes and then garnish with green coriander leaves and serve hot.
