If you want to apply for a PAN card, first you have to go to the official website.
After this, you have to select the option of Apply Online. Then you will have to open this form and fill in all the information. In this, whether you have a PAN card or not, one of the options will also have to be selected. Also, after filling in the name, date of birth, email id, and mobile number, it has to be submitted.
Now you have to upload your required documents in this form. After that check all correctly and submit the form. You will also get the option to pay the PAN card fees. Then you have to click on submit.
After submission, a 15-digit registration number will be generated. This allows you to track your application. When the PAN card is generated, it is sent to your home via Indian post.
Information related to the PAN card form
Let us tell you that you can apply for a PAN card by filling out Form 49A or Form 49AA. On the other hand, Indian citizens or companies should fill out Form 49A and foreigners should fill out Form 49AA only. If a person is a minor and a student, he can apply for a PAN card by filling out Form 49A.
Both these forms are available online and offline. Both the forms have to fill in all these details like Assessing Officer Code, Name, Address, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email ID and Aadhaar Card Number, etc. If you are filling out the form offline, then you have to sign the form and send it to the office of TIN-NSDL by attaching the photocopies of the documents.
