Ingredients for making onion curry
Onion – 4-5
Ginger chopped – 1 tsp
Green chilli chopped – 2
Dry mango powder – 1 tsp
Fennel – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Green Coriander – 1 tablespoon
Oil
Salt – as per taste

Onion curry recipe
To make delicious onion curry, first remove the upper peel of the onion and then cut it into long pieces. After this, take a pan add oil to it, and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin and asafoetida to it. After a few seconds, when cumin starts crackling, add turmeric and fennel and stir with the help of a ladle. After this, add chopped onion to the pan and mix it well with the spices.

Now slow down the gas flame and let the onion cook. Keep stirring the vegetables with the help of a spoon in between. After cooking the vegetable for 2 minutes, add salt as per taste and mix. When the onions are cooked and become completely soft, add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, dry mango powder, and other ingredients to the vegetable, mix well and let it cook. Switch off the gas after some time. The flavourful onion curry is ready. Serve it for lunch or dinner.
