If you want to add a name in the ration card, then you need these documents:-
If your child's name has not been added to the ration card yet, then you can get it added, for which you first need the child's birth certificate. Keep in mind that this is the most important document for adding names to ration cards. You can get it from the Municipal Corporation, Municipality, or Gram Panchayat

If you want to add your child's name to the ration card, then the second document for this is the photo of the head. You need a passport-size photo of the head of the house (in whose name the ration card is)

To add a name to ration card, you also need the Aadhar card of the child

Method of adding child's name to ration card:-

Step 1
If you also have all the necessary documents, then now you have to go to the official website of the Food Supply Department of your state.

For example, if you are a resident of Uttar Pradesh, then you have to go to the official website of the Food Supply Department here https://fcs.up.gov.in/

Step 2
After this, you have to click on the option 'Add the name of a new member in ration card'

Then the application form will come in front of you where you have to fill in all the information about the child

Along with this, attach the necessary documents and then apply by paying the application fee.
