If we talk about the benefits of the scheme, under Ayushman cards are made for eligible people. After this, the cardholder can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in the listed hospital. The government bears its entire cost, not the cardholder.

If you are eligible for Ayushman Yojana, then you can get the card made for which you have to first go to your nearest Jan Seva Kendra.
By going here you have to meet the concerned officer and submit your documents and then your eligibility and documents are checked here.
Then when everything is found correct, you are issued an Ayushman card.
