Method to correct PAN card mistakes:-
Step 1
If there is any mistake in your PAN card, you can get it rectified.
For this, you have to go to the official portal onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html
By going here you have to click on the option of Change/Correction PAN Data in Application Type.
Step 2
Then you have to enter your category and fill in the requested information.
Then you have to fill in the captcha code and submit the form.
After submitting the form your request will be registered
Then a token number and a link will come to your email ID
Step 3
Then you have to click on the link received in the email and then the PAN update page will open on the screen.
Here you have to fill in the required information and click on Next.
Now you have to upload the soft copy of the required documents and make the payment.
Step 4
After this, you will get an acknowledgment slip, keep it with you.
Then you have to send the required information by post to the address given in NSDL e-Governance.
Your information is then verified and updated if found correct.
