If there are rats in your house, mint can help you in getting rid of them. Rats do not like the smell of mint at all. You have to keep mint in the house or keep it where rats are seen.
Third way
If you are putting a cage to catch rats, then one thing you can do is put curd in the bread you are putting in it. First, apply curd on a piece of roti and then put the roti inside the net. Due to this the rats get attracted and get trapped in the cage.
Fourth way
Camphor is also considered very effective in warding off rats. Rats do not like the smell of camphor, so they run away from it. In such a situation, you have to keep pieces of camphor in the corners of the house.
