Navratri (Navratri 2023) is celebrated by the entire Hindu community with full devotion and devotion. Significance of Weapons
Mata Durga is considered a source of blessings and strength for the devotees. You must have seen some picture or statue of the Goddess in which she is holding different weapons. These weapons of the Mother Goddess have special significance because they are considered a symbol of her power and work to protect her devotees. According to mythological texts, different types of weapons have special significance in the hands of Goddess Durga. The weapons of Goddess Durga represent her extremely powerful form. The goddess uses these weapons to keep her devotees safe.
Importance of Trishul:
Trishul of Maa Durga is a symbol of her tri-goddess form as well as power. It is shown in his hands and instructs the devotees to protect the soul. The three prongs of the trident in the mother's hand symbolize the qualities of Satva, Raja, and Tama. Mother ruled the universe by balancing these three. She also killed the demon Mahishasura with this trident, hence one name of the goddess is Mahishasura Mardini. It is believed that Mahadev had gifted this trident to the goddess.
