- In such a situation, according to UdayaTithi, Nag Panchami will be worshipped on 21 August.

Nag Panchami 2023 Puja Vidhi
- On the day of Nag Panchami, take a bath early in the morning and meditate on your favourite.
- Then take the wooden post. Clean it with Ganges water and spread a cloth.
- Make an idol of the serpent god out of clay. Do Jalabhishek of snake god with milk.
- After this, offer turmeric, vermilion, rice and flowers to the serpent god.
- Mix ghee and sugar in raw milk and offer it to the snake god.
- Chant the mantras of Nag Devta on the day of Nag Panchami.
- Read the story of Nag Devta and also perform aarti at the end.

- Snakes have been considered worshipable. Lord Vishnu and Shiva are related to snakes.
- Sheshnag is the bed of Lord Vishnu and Vasuki is the serpent around the neck of Lord Shiva.
