Milk – 2 liters
Sugar – 2 cups
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Ground alum – 2 pinches
Recipe
- First of all, pour milk into a big pan and keep it to heat. During this time keep the gas flame on full.
When the milk boils well, add two pinches of alum in it.
- After some time of adding alum, the milk will curdle and become grainy.
- Keep boiling the milk and cook it until it thickens. When the milk thickens well, add two cups of sugar to it.
Now mix sugar with milk well with the help of a spoon and let it cook.
- When the milk has been cooked for about 10 minutes, add ghee to it. Keep stirring the milk occasionally.
- Keep cooking this entire mixture on the gas until the entire mixture becomes thick.
- As the mixture cooks properly, its color will also start changing.
- When the color of the mixture changes, turn off the gas.
- Now take a deep-bottomed plate or plate. Take out the mixture and keep it cool for half an hour.
- After half an hour, check whether the mixture has set well or not.
- If it is not set properly then let it cool for some more time and if it is set well then cut it into the shape of your choice. The milk cake is ready.
