Meta's Thread is becoming popular day by day since its announcement. The app works in collaboration with Instagram and allows users to sync followers, profile details, and more.
Meta's Twitter rival offers basic features like text updates, posting photos and videos, and sharing them with others. However, there are some features that you may not be aware of, here are 4 such features that you should know about.
Quickly follow someone on Threads
Threads has a quick follow feature that allows users to instantly follow other users on the platform. This feature allows users to follow other users without opening their profiles and tapping on the follow button. To follow it, you can simply tap on the + icon next to their handle to follow them.
Quickly create a new thread
To post a new thread, users need to click on the + icon at the bottom. But to create a new thread (more than one) within a thread, you just need to tap on the Add to Thread button to add another thread or more threads below the primary thread. It's like multiple tweets under one tweet. But, Meta has made it even simpler. To create a new sub-thread, users just need to triple-tap the Enter button on their keyboard.
Mute users
If you don't like getting notifications every time someone posts a new thread. Then, threads have the option to mute individual ones. This could be for people you don't care much about or just want to avoid being bothered every time you post something. Tap the three-dot menu on the post from the thread account you want to mute. Select the mute option from the drop-down.
Hidden words
There is also a dedicated hidden words option in Threads. It allows users to hide offensive answers as well as answers containing special words and phrases. Activate it by going to the privacy page from the profile and find the hidden words option.
