Mental Health: Is the little voice inside your head getting the better of you? It is the voice of what you always think and have a strong opinion on. It is they who describe your life and define how you should have a positive attitude towards life. However, when you keep talking toxic things to yourself (which you should ignore), your inner voice also turns against you.
Stop saying these toxic things to yourself
1. I always do stupid things
Even the smartest people make mistakes. Of course, every action has a consequence, but that doesn't mean you let that worry overpower your ability to get things right. Instead, learn from your mistakes and improve, rather than twisting yourself and talking like this.
2. I always fail
Failure is a part of life and it doesn't matter as long as you know how to get back up. Accepting failure is one of the most toxic ways of thinking. No matter how trite it may sound, it is true that never give up and keep trying till you succeed.
3. Nobody cares for me
You may feel sad or lonely at times, which is normal. However, thoughts like 'nobody cares for me' should not give birth. The way you look at everything around you makes a difference. So the moment you start thinking that nobody cares for you, you start driving people away. There can be many people in your life who care about you, all you have to do is reach out and talk to them.
4. I shouldn't speak
Do you feel that people do not like it when you speak? Do you feel you are judged every time you speak? First of all people around you should not make you feel like this and if they do then you need a better group of people around you.
5. Is it worth living like this?
Have you been feeling down lately? Some moments of sadness pass quickly and some last longer than you think, after which you go into depression. If you are thinking 'is this life worth living', 'is it better if I go away' then ask someone for help! No problem is so big that it does not have a solution. Talking to your loved ones or partner can help you.
6. I Have No Hope
Hopelessness, helplessness, depressed mood, self-harm, irritability and lack of motivation are symptoms of depression. Other physical symptoms include sleeplessness, loss of appetite, fatigue and decreased sexual desire. Recognizing these symptoms can help you seek professional help in time.
