Mawsmai Valley is four and a half kilometers from Cherrapunji in Meghalaya. Whereas, the distance between Cherrapunji from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, is 53 km. When not to go
Do not plan to visit Mawsmai Valley during the monsoon and winter seasons. The cave is filled with water during this season due to heavy rains. Restriction
Pregnant women and children are advised not to visit Mawsmai Valley. Do not take pregnant women and children together for this.

Seasonal Valley remains open from 9 am to 5 pm. During this, you can go on an adventure trip with your friends.

How much is the rent
The entry fee for adults is Rs 20. At the same time, it is Rs 5 for children. Whereas, the camera and recording charges are Rs 50. Tourists are allowed to enter only up to 150 meters. It is forbidden to enter the cave beyond this. In simple words going beyond 150 meters is not allowed.
