The features list of Maruti Suzuki Brezza (Maruti Suzuki Brezza), the best-selling SUV of Indo-Japanese automaker Maruti Suzuki (Maruti Suzuki), has been updated and the technology of select variants has been changed. According to the new brochure listed on the company's website, the updated Brezza now comes with seatbelt reminders as standard for all five passengers. This safety feature was earlier limited to the front seats only. Do note that the rear seatbelt reminder will work even in the absence of occupants.

These features have been removed
Along with adding some extra safety features, Maruti Suzuki has removed a few features from the Brezza lineup. This includes mild-hybrid technology in the manual variant of the subcompact SUV. This fuel-saving technology will now be available only with the automatic variants. The mileage figures have also changed with this and the manual now returns 17.38 kmpl instead of the earlier 20.15 kmpl (ARAI certified). The automatic continues to deliver a mileage of 19.80 kmpl.

These features were removed from the CNG variant
In addition, features like Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Hill Hold Assist have also been dropped from the CNG variant. No mechanical changes have been made to the sub-compact SUV. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza continues to draw power from the same 1.5-litre K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine tuned for 102 bhp power and 136.8 Nm peak torque. The motor is mated to a 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter. The CNG version is only offered with a manual gearbox and gets a different motor generating 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of peak torque.

Price and competition
Maruti Suzuki Brezza prices start at Rs 8.29 Lakh going all the way up to Rs 13.98 Lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Maruti Suzuki Brezza competes with cars like Kia Sonet (Kia Sonnet), Tata Nexon (Tata Nexon), Mahindra XUV300 (Mahindra XUV300), Hyundai Venue (Hyundai Venue) in its segment.
