Ingredients to make Makhana Bhel
Makhana – 2 cups
Peanuts – 1/2 cup
Onion finely chopped – 1/2 cup
Finely chopped tomatoes – 1/2 cup
Carrots finely chopped – 1/2 cup
Finely chopped beetroot – 1/2 cup
Green chilli chopped – 2
Coriander leaves chopped – 1/4 cup
Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
Desi ghee – 3-4 tsp
Green chutney – as per requirement
Tamarind chutney – as per requirement
Sev – 1/4 cup
Salt – as per taste

How to make Makhana Bhel
To make Makhana Bhel full of taste and nutrition, first of all, put some desi ghee in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After the ghee melts, add peanuts to it and fry. When the grains are fried well, take them out in a bowl. Now add makhana to the pan and fry them also. After frying the makhana well for 5-6 minutes, add red chili powder and salt as per taste, mix and fry.

When the makhanas are fried properly, turn off the gas and take them out in a bowl. Now take onion and tomato and cut them into small pieces. After this, chop beetroot and carrot finely. Now take a big mixing bowl and add roasted peanuts and makhana and mix properly. After this add finely chopped onion, tomato, beetroot, and carrot and mix them also.

After this, add chaat masala, green chutney, and sweet tamarind chutney to the Makhana Bhel mixture and mix it. Then add chopped coriander and green chilies. Tasty Makhana Bhel is ready. Take it out on a serving plate and serve garnished with green coriander leaves and sev.
