You must have heard many stories related to Arjun. Arjun, one of the most important characters of Mahabharata, is counted among the bravest warriors.

Arjun was not only adept at shooting arrows, but he also had such divine powers that no one could defeat him. Apart from this, it is also believed that the arrows in Arjun's quiver never ran out.

According to mythological beliefs, this quiver was given to Arjun by the demon king Mayasura. Mayasura gave this quiver to Arjun when Lord Krishna went to Khandav forest with the Pandavas.

When the kingdom was divided, Dhritarashtra gave the Pandavas a forest called Khandavprastha. After reaching there, Arjun asked Shri Krishna how we will make it our capital. Therefore, Lord Krishna called Vishwakarma.

When Vishwakarma appeared, he told Shri Krishna that Lord, Mayasura had built a city in this Khandavprastha, but today it has become a ruin and he knows every corner of this place. So you should ask him to make this forest the capital.

After this Mayasura reaches there and then he gives this quiver to Arjun. The arrows from this quiver never used to end. Mayasura also informed Arjun that the quiver belonged to Agnidev who himself had given it to the demon king.
