Lauki Idli: Give a unique twist to regular idlis with this Lauki Idli recipe. It is made from a bottled gourd, semolina, and a mixture of flavourful spices, which is super healthy as well as super tasty.

Material :
-1 cup semolina

- 1 cup grated bottle gourd

-1/2 cup curd

-1 tsp salt

-1/2 cup water

-1 tbsp oil

-1 tsp mustard seeds

-1 tsp urad dal

-1 red chili

-1 sprig of curry leaves

-1/4 cup coriander leaves

1 tsp salt

Method :
1. Heat oil in a pan, fry mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, and red chilies. Add semolina and fry for 5 minutes.

2. Take it off the flame and let it cool down. Add water and curd to the roasted semolina. Mix it well and keep it aside for 20 minutes.

3. Add the grated bottle gourd and green coriander to the semolina and mix and add salt.

4. Pour the batter into the idli molds and steam for 15 minutes.

5. Bottle gourd idli is ready. Serve hot with hot sambar.
